Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 October 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Hostinvo, the operator of hostinvo.dev, collects, uses and protects your personal information when you visit our site or use the platform. By using Hostinvo, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

Account data: name, email address and company details when you create a workspace or buy a licence.

Usage data: access logs, IP addresses, browser information and session timestamps for security and operations, and the number of Hostinvo AI requests, to count your allowance.

Payment data: subscription and licence payments are processed through PayPal or by bank transfer. We never see or store your card details; we keep only the transaction reference and the invoice.

Contact messages: when you write to us from the contact page we keep your name, email, message, IP address and browser type to answer you and to prevent abuse.

Tenant data: the data you enter to manage your clients, services and invoices remains your property and is stored with database-level tenant isolation (row-level security policies). We process it on your behalf and use it only to run your service.

3. Hostinvo AI

Hostinvo AI runs on Hostinvo's own servers. The text you send and the results you receive are not sent to third-party AI providers and are not used to train models. We record only the number of requests, to count your allowance.

4. How we use your data

We use your data to provide, operate and improve the platform, send service-related notifications (such as updates and billing alerts), respond to your inquiries, and manage your account and billing.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties or use it for advertising purposes.

5. Data sharing

We share your data only with the providers who help us run the service, and only what each needs: PayPal to process payments; Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots off forms where it is enabled; Vercel to serve the marketing site and measure its performance; and Google Analytics or Tag Manager only if you accept analytics or marketing cookies. The platform itself, and your data, run on servers we operate.

We also disclose data when required by law or with your explicit consent.

6. Data security

We apply technical and organisational security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, database-level tenant isolation, encrypted storage of secrets, and two-factor authentication and passkeys for your accounts.

7. Data retention

We retain account data for the duration of your active subscription. After a trial ends or an account is terminated we keep the data for thirty days so you can restore or export it, then delete it, except billing records we are legally required to keep. You can ask for deletion at any time before that.

8. Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction, deletion or export of your personal data. Contact us at hello@hostinvo.dev to exercise these rights; we answer within thirty days.

9. Cookies

We use cookies as described in the Cookie Policy; analytics and marketing cookies load only with your consent from the cookie banner.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the platform.
